2/22/15 5-foot-11, 150-pound prospect with average high school frame. Uses a high compact leg kick in his delivery. Tendency to open the front side early. Throws from a high-¾ to over the top slot. Shows some arm strength with a 80-83 mph fastball with run. Gets downhill with the pitch. Breaking ball sat at 71-73 mph with late 11/5 action. Changeup is thrown with good arm speed at 75-77 mph. The pitch has some sink to it.
11/16/13 Pruskowski showed improvements in all facets of the game. The two-way prospect sat 79-81 from an over the top arm slot on the mound. He also displayed a 72 mph slider and a 74 mph changeup at near fastball arm speed. Pruskowski showcased accurate throws of 80 mph across the diamond from 3B. The right-handed hitter uses a slightly open stance and a big weight transfer to generate a bat exit velocity of 81 mph. He barreled the baseball frequently, but has a tendency to get to his front side early.
12/27/12 Pruskowski had a solid showing in all facets of the game. The Freshman showed a sound hitting approach with good weight transfer and extension through the baseball. Pruskowski consistently squared the baseball and drove the baseball to all fields with a bat exit speed of 75 mph. From the mound he used a high 3/4 delivery topping at 76 mph. His 67 mph slider and 65 mph split finger changeup showed potential to be effective pitches with additional work.
1/19/13 Pruskowski showed promise as the only Class of 2016 prospect in attendance. He ran a 7.58 60-yard dash, threw 76 mph across the diamond and showcased a 74 mph bat exit velocity. Pruskowski had a solid round of batting practice displaying some gap power and the ability to square the baseball frequently. With continued work he should develop into a quality high school hitter. Pruskowski used a high 3/4 delivery to top at 76 mph from the mound. He also showed a 67 mph curveball and a developing split finger changeup at 66 mph.
