2019 Diamondskills All-American Camp 1/19/2019

Strong frame at 5-foot-10, 200-pounds. From the left side stance started athletic and open with hands relaxed. Short on line stride with a quick hand load. Hands were quick and explosive through the zone and barrel was strong through contact. Swing showed some uphill tilt with some gap to gap power potential. Right side stance was similar, athletic and open, but head drifted slightly forward and there was a more pronounced leg lift to striding slightly closed. Hands were still explosive through the zone and showed strength from both sides, but swing looked more fluid from the left side. Feet were active and worked through the ball and hands were soft. Arm action was long throwing from an over the top slot, but displayed some arm speed throwing across at 74 mph. 60 time was 7.60.

5-foot-9, 185-pound switch-hitter displayed similar swings from both sides of the plate with greater feel for the barrel and more power potential from the left side. Recorded a top bat exit velocity of 79 mph a number that will climb quickly as he learns to fully incorporate his lower half. Displayed active feet and the ability to play through the baseball defensively with accurate 72 mph arm strength. The right-hander sat 69-71 from an over-the-top arm slot with some sink to his fastball. Curveball showed looping 11/5 rotation at 51-56. Changeup is thrown at near fastball arm speed at 55-58.
