1.28.18 6-foot, 200-pound backstop is committed to Wilson College. The right-handed hitter took one of the better rounds of batting practice over the course of the two day event. He starts from a square stance and initiates his swing with a subtle heel-raise stride. Displayed little wasted movement in his swing with a direct swing path. Showed solid hip turn and hands work well through contact. Consistently barreled the baseball with authority with a bat exit velocity of 91 mph. Still working back from a football related injury in the fall but appears ready to go at full strength this spring. Showcased pop times of 2.07-2.16 and 74 mph arm strength out of the crouch.
7/18/17 - 6-foot, 200-pounder with physical, athletic frame. Ran a 7.46 60-yard dash and registered a 91 mph bat exit velocity at a previous PBR event this summer.  Behind the plate has shown pop times of 2.10-2.20 with 74 mph arm strength out of the crouch.  Balanced approach at the plate with some present gap power and a frame that projects for more to come.  On the mound sat 78-80 out of a high 3/4 arm slot while utilizing a 11/5 breaking curveball at 62-64 as his primary secondary pitch. Worked one inning in game action, pounding the strike zone and recording three ground ball outs.

6/27/17 - 6-foot, 200-pound right-handed hitter took one the top rounds of batting practice on the day.  He starts from a slightly open stance and initiates his swing with a heel-raise stride.  Launches barrel from a point of strength with little wasted movement during swing.  Strong lower half and good balance resulted in line drives to all fields with present gap power. Registered a bat exit velocity of 91 mph.
Also one of top defensive catchers at the event. Showcased pop times of 2.10-2.20 on throws of 74 mph from the crouch. Additional work to allow back side to get through throws would see those times come down quickly. Finished day by displaying a feel for three pitches on the mound sitting 76-78 with his fastball.
