7/15/20

Physical: Lean and athletic 5-foot-8, 135-pound frame with plenty of room to fill out as he continues maturing. 7.07 runner in the 60-yard dash with short, quick strides.

Offensively: RHH. Tall, balanced stance with a bend in the knees as the hands started idle next to the ear. Utilized a controlled, methodical toe tap stride to initiate a flat barrel path into the hitting zone, showed a feel for extension with the hands. Everything he did in the box was under control, repeatedly on time at the front of the plate yielding hard line drive contact to the middle of the field. HIt into a stiff and adjustable front side while recording a peak bat-exit velocity of 83 mph according to Trackman Baseball / top batted ball distance of 302 feet during his round of batting practice / 22.10 maximum hand speed per Blast Motion.

Defensively: The primary middle infielder featured short and quick footwork arriving to the spot on time out of a medium center of gravity on the approach. Fielded off of the middle of his body with a soft glove hand working out in front showing push or give abilities. Made the play on the run with relative ease with advanced range to the glove hand side and threw from a quick, high ¾ slot across the diamond. INF - 74 mph

Pitching: RHP - Starts off of the left side of the rubber with a moderate rocker step to the side, medium leg lift out of a compact stack, directional towards the plate while holding a medium center of gravity on the land, high ¾ arm-slot with quickness to it. FB appeared from 74-77 mph displaying an upwards of 1910 spin per Trackman Baseball. Mixed in a quality 57-60 mph breaker with 11/5 shape and a peak spin of 2129 rpms.

7/23/19

5-foot-7, 135-pound right-handed hitter starts from a square stance and utilizes a short, leg-hang stride to begin. Displayed a line drive approach with a feel for the barrel. Registered a bat exit velocity of 73 mph and ran a 7.56 60-yard dash. Showcased an ability to play through the ball defensively with accurate 70 mph arm strength across the diamond. The two-way prospect sat 67-71 from a 3/4 arm slot on the mound with a long takeaway to his delivery. Also displayed a curveball with 11/5 rotation at 55-57 and a changeup at 59-61.
