Physical: 6-2, 160 pounds; Long, wiry build. 8.15 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Even setup, with feet just outside his shoulders; bat positioned at a 45 degree angle. Short take back with the hands with an up and down stride for timing. Drifts into contact while showing an aggressive lower half. Showed a flat swing path with a two handed finish. More groundballs than line drives and flyballs with a peak exit velocity of 89 MPH via Trackman.
Defensively: Starts with an upright /tall setup; static during pre-pitch while showing active feet. Hands are off to the side while funneling to the hip before transfer. Short take back from a standard 3/4 arm slot. INF - 78 MPH.
Pitching: Uses a glove side setup while using a side step. Belt high leg drive with a slight lean over the belt. Has a moderate stride landing inline with the plate. Moderate arm swing while arm stays in line with 2B; standard 3/4 slot. Square to the plate with finish. FB: Peak velo of 77 MPH, while sitting 72-75 MPH; arm side run. CB: 60-64 MPH; showed depth. OTHER: SPLT 64-68 MPH; late drop.
