Showcased above average all-around skill set with an 84 mph bat exit velocity and 85 mph arm strength across the diamond defensively. The right-handed hitter went 3-for-6 at the plate in game action and sat 81-83 from an up tempo high 3/4 arm slot delivery on the mound.  71 mph curveball with hard biting 11/5 action is an above average out pitch that gives McCaskey the potential to be a two-way player at the next level.

10/29/16 5-foot-11, 160-pound right-handed hitter who ran a 7.02 60-yard dash and posted an 86 mph exit velocity. Swings hard and flashes some bat speed. Hits from an open stance with an uphill path and would benefit from keeping the barrel in the hitting zone longer. Defensively, he showed a quality glove hand and 76 mph arm strength with some effort to his throw.

Attacks the zone out of an up-tempo wind-up. Pitches out of a three-quarter slot with hook out of glove and arm speed out front. Fastball sat 83-84 and he flashed a change-up at 71-72 with late diving action that has a chance to be a solid pitch for him. Also showed a slider at 69-72 and a curveball with similar shape at 67-69.
