Bowman wasted little time impressing the hundreds of scouts in attendance with a 3-for-3, four stolen base game in the opener. The 5-foot-11 right-handed hitter also walked and scored two runs, to go along with an RBI. There’s not much pop and his swing is not ideal with some “step in the bucket” but it works for him as he consistently put the bat on the ball. Bowman is an 80-grade runner (6.42 sixty) that he puts to use in the game and he ran a 4.21 down the line on an infield single. Speed is not the only strong suit in his game. Bowman also throws near average with a loose arm and good arm action. The NC State recruit is an above average defender in the big field and tools-wise reminds me of current Wolfpack outfielder, Rett Johnson, who is a top three round prospect for the 2027 draft.

Physical: Developing, high-waisted 5-foot-5, 125-pound frame with athleticism. 7.49 runner in the 60.

Offensively: RHH - Shoulder-width start, as the hands controlled in rhythm at regular height. Utilized a lift and replace stride that allowed him to repeatedly deliver a flat barrel path into the hitting zone. Won all the important positions in the box, clean mover, and added a 75 mph bat-exit velocity. Stayed on a line mostly through the middle of the field.

Defensively: The middle infielder showed off anticipation in the prep-step and ranged in either direction with bouncy footwork. Glove-pat before release from a H ¾ slot, accurate 62 mph arm with feel on the run.

Pitching: RHP - Repeatable delivery that held direction down the slope. Slight stab in the back, getting more smooth out in front. FB ranged 65-67 mph, strikes, and mixed a sweeping 58-60 mph CB across the plate.
