9/15/18 Defensively, flashes good flexibility in providing a low, wide target. Glove hand is soft and confident while consistently beating ball to spot. Blocking technique is solid with 6-foot-1, physical frame providing a soft square and wide wall. Feet and hands are quick and are synced well on throw of 79 mph out of the crouch. A 2.00 pop time was registered on throw of 79 mph.
Offensively, 6-foot-1 185 pound right-handed hitter, initiates swing from neutra set up with short, controlled stride staying neutral. Separation is excellent. Weight shift is passive followed by an aggressive hip turn. Bat path is slightly uphill and there is some length. Swings with intent achieving substantial barrel whip. Ball jumps off bat pull side power evident in an impressive round of BP. Registered a 93 mph bat exit velocity. Projects as next level power bat
