6/15/20

Physical: Large and well put together 6-foot-2, 220-pound frame with advanced strength in the lower half.

Pitching: Showcased a moderate tempo in the delivery with a high leg lift and low, high ¾ slot working with small arm-side run on the fastball at 82-85 mph. Mixed in an advanced 72-74 mph CB with 2524 spin per Trackman Baseball and two plane, 11/5 shape with swing and miss ability. Dropped in a 76-78 mph CH for strikes showing near fastball arm speed and occasional fade to the arm side. Ran a two seamer at about -2 the velocity of the average fastball into right handed hitter’s during gameplay and took more than a few fists.

7/23/19

6-foot-1, 220-pound primary pitcher sat 82-84 from a high 3/4 arm slot from a high 3/4 arm slot while consistently getting down hill and on top of his fastball. His cruveball shows two-plane 11/5 action at 71-73 and has a chance to be a swing and miss pitch. The changeup is thrown for strikes with good sell at 77-78 and shows regular arm-side run. A physical frame has room to add strength. Incremental velocity gains are likely. Definite follow in this class.

6/28/19

6-foot-1, 220-pounder works out of a high 3/4 arm slot with heavy cut to his fastball at 78-81. Fastball missed a lot of barrels and induced plenty of weak contact. Also commands a curveball at 68-71 with late 11/5 rotation that shows two-plane action at times. Potential to add strength to frame.
