Appeared worn down in my looks, with looser actions behind the dish and less in-game impact with the stick than he showed over the course of the spring. One constant on display, however, was his keen eye and feel for the strike zone, with the backstop drawing walks in over a quarter of his 70-plus plate appearances with Orleans. A strong offensive performance next spring could sneak him into the top ten rounds as a future down-order stick with enough pop for his on-base skillset to play and enough athleticism to provide defensive versatility at catcher, second base and third base.

On a night that showcased nearly 30 prospects in front of over 20 pro scouts Miknis stood out. The 6-foot, 185-pound left-handed hitter took arguably the top round of batting practice on the evening. Starting from a narrow, slightly open stance, Miknis showcased a short swing path while continually staying inside the baseball driving the baseball all over the park. He carried that swing into game action lining a single back through the box for the game's first run. Behind the plate, Miknis showcased athleticism and a quick transfer with 80 mph arm strength and pop times of 1.96-2.04.
