2/14/21

Physical: 6-foot, 210LBS. 7.66SEC 60-Yard Dash.

Offensively: RHH. Feet shoulder width apart with the left heel off the ground. Weight transfers to the backside as the hands go up and back. Uses a subtle leg hang for timing. Slightly downhill bat path with a high finish.

Defensively: 3B. Fields with bend in the knees with the torso staying vertical at times. Exchanges at chest height prior to going into the arm swing. Works in a straight line towards his target.

Pitching: RHP. Works strictly out of the stretch. Comes set with hands at chest height and the lead leg slightly open. Uses a slide step and works quickly to the plate. Hands separate slightly after the slide step initiates. Maintains bend in the elbow during the arm swing and releases from a high 3/4 arm slot.

7/15/20

Physical: Strong and big framed 6-foot, 220-pound build. 7.84 runner in the 60-yard dash.

Offensively: RHH. Crouched, balanced stance with a bend in the knees, utilized a leg-hang stride to initiate a herky jerky, slightly uphill barrel path towards contact. Showed good usage of a strong lower half coupled with a thunderous bat head with powerful wrists entering the hitting zone. Found the ball repeatedly out in the front of the plate yielding hard contact to the pull-side during batting practice, medium-low posture throughout the swing, got connected to the ground early and often. Recorded a top bat-exit velocity of 91 mph according to Trackman Baseball while displaying natural lift to the LCF gap on occasion, 310 foot max distance.

Defensively: The third baseman featured a quick first step and medium-low center of gravity during defensive evaluations, approached with active footwork while fielding off of the middle of his body, used short right/left steps to get direction towards the bag, accurate high ¾ slot with a moderate arm circle. INF - 74 mph

Pitching: RHP - Slow pace throughout, side rocker step into a medium leg lift at the top of the stack, go in line towards the plate, landed well over the front side with fluidity through a high ¾ slot with a moderate takeaway. FB ranged from 77-80 mph showing a max spin of 2026 rpms per Trackman Baseball, mixed in a 66-68 mph CB with short/developing break and 11/5 shape.
