Physical: 6-2, 205 pounds; Long, Sturdy build. 7.13 runner in the 60. Offensively: LHH. Even setup, with feet just outside his shoulders; has a pre-pitch bat waggle. Short take back with the hands with a toe-tap for timing. Stays behind the ball while showing a strong lower half. Showed a compact swing path with a finish around the back. More flyballs than line drives and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 90 MPH via Trackman. Defensively: Starts with an upright /tall setup; uses prep hop while showing choppy feet. Hands are off to the side with a clean transfer. Moderate arm circle from a standard 3/4 arm slot.
7/13/22
Physical: Strong, athletic 6-foot-2, 180lb frame; projectable. 7.28 runner in the 60.
Offensively: LHH. Wide, taller stance, as the hands worked loosely at the shoulder. Utilized a controlled toe-tap stride to initiate the swing through an uphill path towards a two-handed finish. Able to decelerate well out in front, extending the arms for efficient burst to the pull-side of the field. Posted a T87 mph exit velocity via Trackman, up to a 329 foot distance.
Defensively: The outfielder displayed corner actions, rounding the ball with a soft glove-hand off his left while releasing from a fluid, H ¾ slot. Reached back for an 83 mph arm-strength with some carry.
Pitching: RHP. Starts off the left corner of the rubber; maintains consistent tempo down the slope, holding onto the rear-hip. Varied command at times with 77-79 mph FB and spun a quality 68-70 mph CB (2300) on an 11/5 tilt. Added a low-70’s CH for strikes with hard fade.
