Physical: Projectable, even proportioned 6-foot-2, 180lb frame with room to continue adding as he matures. Flexibility/athleticism pops on the mound.
Pitching: RHP - Started off the left side of the rubber from the stretch only, staying directional and closed off until footstrike, efficiently driving down through the finish with on-time rotational power at a high ¾ slot. FB entered the zone at 83-85, T87 mph with easy cheese and a loose-armed approach on the hill. Mixed a sharp two-plane breaker at 69-72 mph that featured a more-consistent, gradual shape to it, countering with quality 71-73 mph CH flashing natural fade to the arm-side. Feel for three pitches at all times and knows how to pitch, keeping hitters off balance/in-between speeds at the plate.
2/27/21
Physical: 6’2 180lb RHP has a good frame with long levers. Still, room to fill out and get stronger in the lower half.
Pitching: Pitches strictly from the stretch. Hands start low by the belt and lift and separate as the leg comes up. Arm has a slight delay as he reaches back and starts gaining ground towards the plate. Lands on a solid front leg and maintains good body control throughout the pitch.
