10/29/16Long limbed, 6-foot-3, 180-pound righty sat 77-80 from an over-the-top arm slot with an up-tempo, high-knee stack delivery. The junior was down in velocity from when we saw him during the spring in the low-to-mid 80s. Benda's changeup is sat 67-69 and was thrown at near-fastball arm speed with occasional cut. The junior's curveball showed 12/6 rotation and was commanded routinely down in the zone.
