1/26/13 Torres displayed raw athletic ability and a big upside. The 5-foot-11, 165-pound SS showed good feet and athletic actions during defensive evaluations. He showcased a strong arm at 80 mph across the infield and very good range. Offensively the switch hitter showcased an 80 mph bat exit velocity from the right side and some pop in his bat. Torres will have to continue to work from the left side to be able to have equal success. With his ability to run a sub 6.70 60-yard dash, Torres is a prospect to watch in the Class of 2014.
