6/15/16 6-foot-2, 175-pound right-handed hitter has made significant strides in past two years. Starts from a square stance and initiates swing with a short stride. Displayed a bat exit velocity of 83 mph and would generate greater barrel whip by incorporating lower half more fully in his swing. Continues to show strides defensively where he flashed fluid actions, active feet and solid arm strength across the diamond (82 mph). Ran a 7.20 60-yard dash and went 3-for-8 with two doubles in game action over two days.

6/30/15 Bell starts from a square stance with a short lift and replace stride. Showed a feel for the barrel with a 77 mph bat exit velocity. Loads hands deep leading to some barring of the lead arm. 6-foot, 160-pounder showed fluid actions defensively with a 74 mph arm across the diamond with much more in the tank. Defensive actions make Bell a definite follow in this class.
