Physical: Wiry, athletic 5-foot-5, 135-pound build. 4.35 runner in the 30YD.
Offensively: RHH. Crouched, even stance, attached to the glute with barrel over backside. Utilized a toe-tap stride to initiate a slightly uphill path into the hitting zone. Recorded a mostly pull-side approach, up to a T80MPH EV and 67% sweet spot rate. More power to come.
Defensively: The catcher flashed developing receiving skills with a soft glove-hand. Pop times ranged from 2.13-2.19, getting rid quickly out of a H ¾ slot. Clean, simple exchange (69MPH arm).
Physical: Compact, developing 5-foot, 107lb frame. 8.47 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH. Balanced, slightly open stance as the hands start from the center of his body. Utilized a toe-tap stride to initiate the swing through a flat, directional path into the hitting zone. Produced a balanced finish with ability to repeat in the box, recording a T76 mph exit velocity via Trackman. Varied success on the sweet spot for a 45% rate, spraying hard contact to pull.
Defensively: The middle infielder beat the ball to the spot with an adequate base, bending in the hips. A taller glove-hand showed a big pocket, funneling inward with 64 mph arm-strength on the front end (H ¾ slot). Slid behind the plate, using a traditional setup and quick release.
