Physical: The Christopher Newport recruit stands a strong, durable 6-foot-1, 195lbs with physicality.

Pitching: RHP - Started off the middle of the rubber from the stretch-only, coming set at a slightly offset position with the left foot past right across the mound. Utilized a straight up, down stack position, dropping and driving in the delivery out towards the mitt with quicker pace into footstrike. Released from a high-intent, H ¾ slot with good hip rotation, landing an 82-84 mph FB to the arm-side of the plate (9 inches HM, T2256rpms). Added a sharp, downer 72-73 mph CB with occasional 12/6 action, gaining a peak of -12 inches of IVB (via Trackman). A developing 75-77 mph CH kept hitters between speeds with adequate sell out of the hand.

Physical: 6-foot-1, 175 pounds; Long, lean build. 
Pitching: Works up tempo with a high leg lift before getting into the back side and driving out in line finishing with intent . long, whippy arm action to a 3/4 slot. FB: T 81MPH, 71-81 MPH; commands in the zone with avg. vert. mov. of 10in. and 5in. avg. of arm side run. CB: 65-70 MPH. good feel for it with 1-4 shape; avg. 6in. of drop with an avg. of 9 in. horz. mov..  CH: 73 MPH; firm, straight change with good arm speed.

6-foot-1, 170-pound right-handed pitcher sat 83-84 with a long arm motion with a head whack at release. Showed a feel for his curveball at 70-72 with 11/5 rotation and above average depth. Showed good sell on his changeup at 73-74 with command down in the zone. Athletic frame has room to add additional strength with velocity gains likely in the future.
