Physical: Lengthy, projectable 6-foot-3, 205lb frame with strength. 7.17 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH - Upright, slightly-open stance with the hands starting lower, calm at the shoulder. Utilized a stretched load on-time with a toe-tap stride to initiate the bat head through a flat, aggressive path into the hitting zone. Shifted weight well into a stiff front side, with proper sequencing in the swing. Recorded a T97 mph bat-exit velocity en route to a 46% line drive rate (via Trackman) during a gap to gap approach. Able to stay inside the ball with short barrel actions and lifted the ball with extension for big-time distance to pull (355 foot max distance). Middle of the order consideration with bat to ball skills to match.
Defensively: The primary outfielder demonstrated the ability to handle at least two of the three OF positions with clean, lateral shuffles in either direction before working downhill through the ball out in front. Drove the chest over toes for momentum and fielded off his left, corralling and released from a lengthy, H ¾ slot (82 mph arm).
