Notes

Comments

6/12/22

Physical: Quality, strong 6-foot-3, 215lb frame. 7.65 runner in the 60-yard dash.

Offensively: RHH. Crouched, even stance with a lower hand-set at the shoulder. Utilized a toe-tap stride to initiate the swing through a slight uphill path towards an immediate right to left finish off the front hip. Produced a 94 mph exit velocity to the pull-side of the field and did damage when connecting to the ground in the box. Able to generate raw power in advantage counts in game action, 355 foot distance, and swung with leverage/intent.

Defensively: The first baseman featured adequate feel around the bag at first; wider base and taller posture, bending with a soft glove hand in the middle of his body. Released across the diamond up to 76 mph, showing moderate effort.

Pitching: RHP. Starts wide spanning the entire rubber with a crafty delivery. Alternates between a sidearm slot and quick H ¾ attack that grabbed a T77 mph during his outing, slight ASR. Added lateral 58-60 mph SL across the plate as the secondary offering.

2/19/22

Physical: 6-foot-3, 215 pounds; Broad shouldered, proportional build. 7.65 runner in the 60.

Offensively: RHH. Even setup, with feet shoulder width apart; bat positioned at a 45 degree angle. Lifts hands with an up and down stride for timing. Stays behind the ball while showing a strong lower half. Showed a slight lift to the ball with a two handed finish.  More flyballs than line drives and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 94 MPH via Trackman.

Defensively: Starts with a balanced setup; utilizing a one knee approach while staying in an elevated position. Hands are soft while standing up during transfer. Short take back from a high/over the top arm slot. 2.13-2.21 pop times. C - 73 MPH. INF - 79 MPH.  At first, starts in a low to the ground stance and uses active feet to field or pop off the bag. Fields out in front and works a clean transfer. Throws out of a moderate arm swing and works into the 3/4 arm slot

9/26/20

Physical: 6-foot-2, 210 pounds; strong, physical build. 7.73 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Upright stance with some bend in the knees; Small stride. Aggressive with Flat path to the point of contact finishing on an uphill plane, one-handed finish.  Hard contact with intent to lift; peak Trackman exit velocity of 96 MPH.
Defensively: C&INF: Low, wide base; C:Quick out of the crouch, gains ground on his target, INF: Starts low and stays low on approach. C&INF: Soft hands, quick transfers; C: Short arm swing with a 3/4 arm slot, INF: Short arm swing with a low 3/4 arm slot. 2.20-2.28 pop times. C - 70 MPH. INF - 71 MPH.
