Ferguson is a 6-foot-1, 220-pound C/3B from Central Catholic HS. Ferguson played travel baseball this fall with the Allegheny Pirates.

11/16/13 Ferguson displayed a square stance and a toe tap trigger from the left side of the plate. Ferguson showed good rhythm to his swing and the ability to drive the baseball to all fields with a bat exit velocity of 91 mph. The 6-foot-1, 220-pound backstop showcased pop times of 2.10-2.18 on throws of 70 mph from the crouch. Ferguson showed his versatility with good feet and capable glove work around the bag at 1B with throws of 69 mph.
