Physical: 6-5, 270 pounds; Long, sturdy build. 8.25 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Closed setup, with feet just outside his shoulders; upright bat position. Short take back with the hands with an up and down stride for timing. Stays behind the ball while showing an average effort from the legs. Showed a moderate swing path with a two handed finish. More flyballs than line drives and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 94 MPH via Trackman.
Defensively: Starts with a balanced setup; uses prep step while covering ground laterally. Hands are out in front with a clean transfer. Short take back from a standard 3/4 arm slot. INF - 65 MPH.
Pitching: Uses a glove side setup while using a side step. Belt high leg drive with a slight lean over the belt. Has a moderate stride landing inline with the plate. Long arm swing while arm stays in line with 2B; high 3/4 slot. Square to the plate with finish. FB: Peak velo of 74 MPH, while sitting 68-72 MPH; commands both sides. CB: 59-60 MPH; lands for strikes.
