6/13/21

Physical: Strong, athletic 6-foot-1, 180lb frame with good proportions. 7.18 runner in the 60-yard dash.

Offensively: RHH - Narrow, slightly bent stance with some rhythm in the hands at the shoulder; utilized a quick, immediate leg lift getting to a wide base for launch through a flat path into the hitting zone. Controlled, high finish yielding a consistent/mature approach to the LCF side of the field (56% line drive rate). Worked his way up to a 95 mph bat-exit velocity per Trackman Baseball while showing off advanced bat to ball skills at the plate. Projects to slot anywhere from 1-5 in the order and can generate extra-base hits all over the park.

Defensively: The primary shortstop featured choppy/active footwork and above-average pace across the diamond. Beat the ball to the spot with a soft glove hand and low posture, using the legs to carry throws from a low ¾, immediate release (79 mph arm). Handled plays on the run with ability to change arm slots.

8/18/20

Physical: 6-foot-1, 165 pounds; slender, athletic build. 7.5 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Open and upright stance with pre-pitch bat waggle; hands drop and load back with a fluid controlled even stride. Average effort in lower half with efficient swing that stays on plane in the zone. Pull side approach; peak Trackman exit velocity of 89 MPH.
Defensively: Upright setup; quick first step, fields out front, quick transitions and release. Seamless transfer; short arm swing, standard 3/4 arm slot. INF - 78 MPH.
