Mihalik is a 6-foot-1, 215-pound 1B/3B from Council Rock South HS. He will be attending the Eastern PA Open ID Showcase on January 5.

11/2/13 Mihalik is a 6-foot-1, 215-pound prospect that has soft hands and solid footwork around the bag at 1B with an accurate 75 mph arm across the diamond. The left-handed hitter utilizes a square stance and a flat bat path through the hitting zone to barrel the baseball routinely. Mihalik does a good job of clearing his hips and allowing his hands to work with a very solid bat exit velocity of 91 mph. He has the potential to develop consistent gap power as he physically matures into his body.

2/23/13 Mihalik showcased a 76 mph throwing arm and solid glove work at first base. The 6-foot-1, 215-pound prospect has soft hands and good footwork around the bag. The left-handed hitter displayed good balance and extension to his swing in a strong round of batting practice. Mihalik has a flat bat path through the hitting zone allowing him to routinely barrel the baseball. With some elevation to the finish portion of his swing Mihalik could add additional power to his resume.

1/13/13 Mihalik impressed as a fielder with soft hands and good footwork around the first base bag. The 6-foot-1, 215 pound left-handed hitter ran a 7.71 60-yard dash and threw 74 mph across the infield. He saved his best for his round of batting practice. Mihalik topped all prospects at the event with an 88 mph bat exit velocity. He uses a fluid rhythm and good extension to create barrel whip through the zone. Mihalik has very good hand and hip action and was able to consistently drive the baseball gap to gap.
