6/20/18 - 5-foot-8, 165-pound right-handed hitter only participated on day one of the event due to another commitment, but stood out with his all-around skill set. He starts his swing from an open stance and utilizes a short, leg-hand stride to initiate his lower half. Displayed an advanced feel for the barrel and an ability to drive both gaps during a very solid round of batting practice. Registered a bat exit velocity of 84 mph and ran a 7.07 60-yard dash. Barreled the baseball in all three in game at bats including a pair of line outs to left field and a triple in his final plate appearance. Showcased active feet and confidence in his glove hand defensively with 80 mph arm strength across the diamond. Made the defensive play of day one diving to his backhand side and throwing across the diamond from his knees for the out.
