10/20/17 Kircher delivered an eye-opening performance early on, as he worked his 90-92 mph fastball with arm-side life, and generated premium velocity with relative ease from a high-¾ slot. His velo settled in at 87-89 in his four-inning stint, while also flashing a sharp 74-77 slider. When the slider was around the zone, it proved to be a solid put-away pitch, as he struck out six. Kirchner allowed four hits and walked three, while throwing 54 percent strikes.
6/20/17 After showing signs of velocity to come over the past two springs Kircher has made a significant jump.  Now sitting 87-89 with the ability to bump 92.  Quick, loose arm with frame that should continue to develop.  Both secondary pitches are solid, but lag behind fastball at this point.
