5/23/15 Tall, lanky right-handed hitter barreled up a mid-80s LHP twice, including a 91-mph exit velo on a single to right-center, on which he posted a 4.56 home-to-1B time on a turn. A primary catcher, Kelly has played 1B this year in deference to senior Kutztown-bound catcher Nick Lafferty.

9/28/14 Kelly showcased a quick transfer with a strong 75 mph arm from the crouch with pop times of 2.06-2.18. The 6-foot-3, 185-pound junior is athletic and should continue to improve with additional work on his footwork and mechanics. Kelly is a right-handed hitter that starts from a square stance with a high hands load. He displayed a flat barrel path and the ability to use all fields in batting practice with a bat exit velocity of 81 mph. Kelly flashed good feet in running a 7.14 60-yard dash.

6/9/14 Kelly showed athletic actions, running a 7.10 60-yard dash, and a strong arm behind the plate (78 mph). He displayed pop times of 2.13-2.21 with very quick feet, but a bit of a long arm throwing motion. The 6-foot-3, 185-pound junior barreled the baseball routinely during his round of batting practice from a square stance with a toe tap stride foot. Kelly showed some gap power potential and a bat exit velocity of 84 mph.
