Marlin has an athletic 5-foot-10, 175 pound frame.  He ran a 7.65 60 yard dash.  Offensively, Marlin starts with a high back elbow which is parallel to the ground with slight hand movement to help create rhythm.  Hands move slightly downward in load while using a heel lift to finish.  Swing path is slightly uphill, while hands are quick through the zone while creating extension with a one-handed finish. Marlin’s exit velocity came in at 84 MPH, which was one of the top readings of the event.  Defensively Marlin’s pop-times ranged from 2.06-2.16 while showing a velocity of 74 MPH.  Marlin sits in an athletic secondary position while receiving.  When throwing to 2B, Marlin’s feet and shoulders work in line to help deliver an accurate throw.  While transferring, hands come together at the right shoulder, and deliver the ball with a short quick high ¾ arm slot.
