6/14/17 Fluid defender with a soft glove hand who has the versatility to handle multiple infield positions at the collegiate level. Takes a solid approach to the ball that allows him to keep his feet active and get lined up for the throw. Logged 88 mph arm strength across the diamond and can complete the slow roller play on the move. 5-foot-11, 165-pound left-handed hitter starts from an open stance and strides slightly closed. Lots of barrel action in load can lead to an inconsistent launch point, but balance has improved and swing continues to smooth out over time. Ran a 7.20 60-yard dash and posted 88 mph exit velocity.

2/12/17 Above average defensive skill set. Trusts his glove hand and exhibits a quick, clean transfer of ball from glove to hand. Showcases 86 mph arm strength across the diamond with accuracy and carry from a whippy arm action. 5-foot-11, 165-pound left-handed hitter has put on 15 pounds since our PA staff last laid eyes on him 15 months ago. Strength gains are evident in both his ability to generate bathead speed (89 mph exit velocity) and ability to control the barrel. Starts from a slightly open stance and strides slightly closed, causing him to spin some to get to pitches on the inner half. Lot of pre-swing hand action, but his hands worked through contact well on pitches out away from him. Ran a 7.32 60-yard dash (one-tenth slower than we have previously recorded him).

12.4.16:  Sankovich is 5-11 with an athletic frame, hits from the left side from an athletic stance. Leg kick stride and loads back with decent rhythm. Explosive hips and average balance throughout swing. Works uphill and extends through the ball, pull approach with some power potential, exit velocity was 85. In the infield, quick clean footwork and soft hands, clean exchange while playing through ball. Throws from a low three-quarters slot with a short, loose, quick arm action, position velocity was 84. Ran a 7.22 60.
11/7/15 5-foot-10, 150-pound left-handed hitter who ran a 7.22 60-yard dash and logged a 79-mph exit velocity. Starts from a slightly open stance, rocks weight to backside with knee-to-knee stride to square. Tends to swing bat with body that floats forward during stride and swing has some length due to lack of physicality, but he certainly has time to add strength to his frame. Defensively is where Sankovich stood out, as he showed smooth actions with a soft glove hand, quick transfer, and the ability to throw from multiple arm angles with 76-mph arm strength.
