9/30/18 - Defensively at first base athleticism is above average for position. Hands are soft and confident with feet working well to ball and around the bag. Registered 76 mph arm strength on throws across the diamond.

Offensively, 6-foot, 185 pound, right-handed hitter initiates swing from neutral set up with short stride staying neutral. Separation is adequate. There is subtle front side softness following heel plant. Stays behind ball achieving solid leverage. Registered a bat exit velocity of 80 mph.

On the mound, the right-hander works out of a mid 3/4 arm slot with moderate effort, repeatable delivery. Milliren steps closed creating crossfire action. Fastball sat 75-79 mph and was commanded with subtle arm side run. Curveball at 59-62 mph had 11/5 shape and rolling action on this day. Change up sat 64-66 mph and was thrown with good sell demonstrating consistent arm side fade/sink.

11/19/17  5-foot-11, 195-pound right-hander worked out of a high 3/4 arm slot with FB sitting 71-73 and being cut to glove side. Curveball thrown at 60-62 had 11-5 shape with moderate depth and was best pitch on this day. Changeup at 60-63 lacked movement. Mechanically, there is a tendency to work into balance point from open front hip position limiting coil and lower half drive.
