Notes

Comments

6/27/22

Physical: 6-foot-0, 170 pounds; Athletic, lean build. 7.03 runner in the 60.

Offensively: RHH. Open setup, with feet just outside his shoulders; has a pre-pitch bat waggle. Short take back with the hands with a slight leg-kick for timing. Stays behind the ball while showing an aggressive lower half. Showed a short swing path with a two handed finish.  More line drives than flyballs and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 90 MPH via Trackman. fluid hands with feel for the barrel; gap to gap pop.

Defensively: Starts with an upright /tall setup; uses prep hop while displaying fluid actions to the baseball. Hands are off to the side with a seamless transfer. Moderate arm circle from a high 3/4 arm slot. OF - 82 MPH.

7/13/21

Physical: Lengthy, athletic 6-foot, 160lb frame with projection left. 7.32 runner in the 60-yard dash.

Offensively: RHH - Balanced, even stance with the upper-half coiled over the backside drive-leg at the start. Utilized a short lift and replace stride, initiating an efficient, rotational swing through a flat path. Drove the ball with early connection to the pull-side of the field, sequencing properly into a stiff, firm front-side at impact. Lifted to the gaps with regularity, posting a near 340 foot batted ball distance paired up with a strong 60% fly ball rate (via Trackman). Created backspin by manipulating contact points and hit behind the ball consistently during his round; clean actions and a T88 mph bat-exit velocity at his peak.

Defensively: The outfielder stayed moderately high in the posture, on his toes and shuffling laterally before working downhill through the ball. Fielded accurately off his left side and funneled into the chest, getting rid quickly from a H ¾ slot and medium arm circle out in front (76 mph, corner OF).
