6/13/23

Physical: 6-1, 170 pounds; Athletic, slight build. 7.27 runner in the 60.

Offensively: RHH. Closed setup, with feet just outside his shoulders; has a pre-pitch bat waggle. Short take back with the hands with a heel lift for timing. Stays behind the ball while showing a strong lower half. Defensively: Starts with an upright /tall setup; walks into ready position while covering ground laterally. Hands are out in front with a clean transfer. Moderate arm circle from a high 3/4 arm slot. INF - 79 MPH.

6/12/22

Physical: Above-average feel for his body at 6-foot-1, 170lbs. 7.32 runner in the 60-yard dash.

Offensively: RHH. Slightly open, upright stance, as the hands operated in a strong position to hit at the shoulder. Utilized a quiet setup on the forward move, holding the backside to create separation through a slight uphill path into the hitting zone. Deep one-handed finish with obvious bat-speed present; recorded a 95 mph exit velocity via Trackman and drove one ball an upwards of 353 feet to the pull-side for a home run. Lived on the sweet spot during his round.

Defensively: The third baseman displayed a wider base and sat down with a flat glove at the fielding window. Funneled inward softly, releasing over the front side up-tempo at 76 mph (H ¾ slot). The actions transferred over to sub 4.20 footwork on a ground ball during gameplay.
