6-foot-3, 210-pound, large, big athletic frame. The back is wide, has strength throughout. A two-way player, projects out off the mound, the top tool is his arm and ability to really spin the baseball. Off the mound this right-hander has a simple repeatable delivery, hands start low work up with his easy controlled leg kick, could get to even higher, more powerful gather at some point. The weight however stays over the backside until he is ready to accelerate to the plate, the direction is inline and has minimal pull with the frontside glove. The arm is super clean, average length to it, with it working out of a natural ¾ slot. The release and extension are good out front, uses the entire body to throw the baseball. The fastball was located down in the zone to both sides of the plate, with 2-seamer, having above average sink and run to it, it reached 83 mph, with a ton left in there. The secondary pitches are both above average, breaking ball has an 11/5 break, clocked at 72 mph, shows to have tilt and depth to it. The changeup was thrown 77-78 mph, had proper shape and fade to it. Times to the plate could be quicker was at 1.82, looked to be extremely comfortable and confident. At the plate, hits from the right side, stance is even, slightly wider than shoulder with. The swing is flat through the zone, barrel stays on the ball and gets extension through the baseball. The approach is more middle to the pull gap, has lift in the swing, above average power and leverage for his age. The tee exit velocity is good at 86 mph, look for him to hit with some power this year. At first base, gets off the bag, feet are quick and crisp, no wasted movement on the drop steps. The hands are soft on the catch, clean transfer, gets closed up well, with everything inline with target. The arm was clocked 79 mph, ball comes out of his with ease. Projects for me off the mound, someone is going to get a good one.

6-foot-2, 210-pound, wide, large athletic frame. The neck is long, back is wide, has plenty of room to fill out. A two-way player currently, showed extremely well off the mound. A right-handed pitcher, the delivery is simple, repeats it with ease. The hands start at and stay at chest high throughout. The leg raise is controlled, get to a better gather position. The separation is on time, stride foot is inline with back foot and length is proper, gets squared up to the plate on release. The arm action is super clean, free and easy, has some length to it. The ball comes out of a natural ¾ slot. The 4 seam fastball was located to the glove side, clocked at 77-80 mph, the breaking ball was clocked at 67-70 mph with proper tilt and depth to it, has the makings of being an above average pitch. The change up was clocked at 71-74 mph and had action to the arm side. Offensively, is a right-handed hitter, the feet are even at shoulder width, hands are held above the back shoulder and his elbows are extended outward. The swing path is down to up, the barrel has whip and life to it, finishes high with one hand. The approach is more pull, shows power to the pull side and gets extension through the baseball well. He has above average speed for a big kid. Defensively, works well off the bag at first and footwork is very good on the drop step starting the double play. Shows good arm speed across the diamond, clocked at 71 mph. The hands are soft, but needs to stay on both feet when attacking the ball. Big time prospect off the mound, look for the velocity to climb rather quickly and has a legitimate out pitch with the breaking ball.
