The approach in the infield is good, throwing 79 mph across the diamond. He handles the pivot at the bag well and he shows a good glove. The bat has an exit velocity of 88 mph. The setup at the plate is even in base and the front foot gains ground as the swing is produced. The path is simple and clean to the ball. He is a guy who will bloom late.

Cullen Crain: SS/2B, (2026) Bishop Hendricken, RI. 5-foot-8, 145-pound lean athletic build. Advanced and  athletic at the plate, Crain recorded an exit velocity of 78 mph. (62.7 mph bat speed average). (17.9 mph hand speed average). Began in a balanced athletic stance with a handsy load, then used a small leg kick. Bat speed is developing, shows a simple loose swing plane and good extension on his finish. Barreled up some balls with loud contact. Up the middle tough out approach. Athletic and raw in the infield, displayed a velocity of 71 mph; has developing hands, developing athletic feet, and a natural exchange. Fielded the ball out front with developing movement laterally. Had a loose arm action and a high ¾ slot with consistent accuracy to the base. During the event, recorded a 60 time of 7.54.  (Max spin ; Avg ).
