The fastball was clocked at 81-83 mph, with heavy arm side sink. Throws a harder slider, swing and miss action at times, clocked up to 71 mph. Showed a fading changeup at 73 mph. 6-foot-1, 215-pound, stronger, thick athletic frame, strength throughout. A right-handed pitcher, also worked out as a position player as well. Off the mound, threw the baseball very well, working from the set position, is loaded and tall on the backside, direction is inline to the plate and is behind the baseball on foot strike. The glove side shows minimal pull to it, arm action is longer and clean on the backside, working through a 3/4 to higher 3/4 slot. Pounded the zone with a three pitch mix, fastball came out of the hand well, clocked at 81 mph, with arm side run to it. The breaking ball acts more like a slider, clocked at 69 mph, with late break and depth to it. Showed feel for a changeup at 69-75 mph, compliments the fastball. At the plate, swings it from the left-side, shows pop to pull gap, had an exit velocity of 85 mph, swing path is clean. More middle to opposite field approach. Defensively, at first base, feet move around the bag, glove is soft. the arm is clean and threw 78 mph, plenty of carry across the diamond. Projects out for me more off the mound, look for a jump in velocity, an arm that can help.
