(65.01 mph bat speed average). (20.10 mph hand speed average). Began in a wide stance with a wrapping load, then used a small leg kick stride. Has a simple flat swing plane, above average bat speed and good extension on his finish. Barreled up lots of balls with loud contact. Aggressive approach. Above average in the infield, his best throw was recorded at 80 mph; had athletic footwork, soft hands, and a clean exchange. Fielded the ball out front with athletic movement laterally. Consistent accuracy to the bag, used a loose arm action with a high ¾ slot. Recorded a 60 time of 7.48 at the event.

Defense:  (IF) Soft hands, athletic footwork, clean exchange. Above average.  Laterally, movements were athletic and fielded the ball out front. 

Arm: 80 mph infield velocity. Loose arm action, high ¾ slot, consistent accuracy. 

Speed: 7.48 (60-yard).

5-foot-5, 155-pound, smaller athletic frame, showing good strength for his size, hands and wrists are strong. A right-handed hitting middle infielder, can play on either side of the bag, projects out more from the right-side. Defensively, the hands and feet work well together, clean active prep steps, gets around the baseball with momentum going towards target. The glove is soft, fielding out front and low to ground, clean starts and turns around the bag. The arm is super clan and fluid, short arm action on the back, clocked 77 mph, plenty of carry, comes out of the hand nice. Offensively, slightly open, hands are loose and relaxed, swing is inside the baseball, spraying line drives to all parts of the field. The exit velocity was clocked at 82 mph, solid contact guy, look for him to make another jump this year.

5-foot-4, 145-pound right-handed hitting middle infielder. Showed well at the event as he is athletic and versatile. Ran a 7.96 sixty at the event. The glove is solid the feet remain active throughout the fielding process. Threw 70 mph across the diamond. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 82 mph. The setup is even in base, bottom half is under control throughout the swing. The path is slightly uphill and he was in pull mode during the event. The hands work free and clear to the ball.

5-foot-4, 140-pound, smaller, athletic frame. Shows to have good strength for his size and age, hands and feet have some twitchyness to them. A right-handed hitting middle infielder, projects out to be able to play both spots up the middle. Defensively, the hands are super soft, fields out front, quick transfer, feet and hands work with ease, gains ground. The arm action is short and quick, working out of a natural ¾ slot, good strength, clocked at 75 mph, with carry and flight. The feeds and turns are advanced for his age, showed to be done equally from both sides. Offensively, compact swing to contact, gets through it and has an all fields approach. Slightly open stance, loose hands at the shoulder. The swing path is level to level to up, contact guy, can handle the bat. Average runner at 4.48 down the line. Continued game experience and added strength, will be one of the better infielders in the class of 2022.

5-foot-3, 130 pounds, average athletic build and proportions. Ran a 8.28 sixty yard dash. A right-handed hitter, Rodrigues showed polish in the box with a consistent bat path and feel for the barrell. All fields, mature, line drive oriented approach. Fluid hands, advanced bat to ball skills, controlled leg kick from a slightly open stance. Quiet hands work from the shoulders with an easy one hand finish. Off the tee, his exit velocity was measured at 72 MPH. Working out as a shortstop, Rodrigues showed off a quick, clean arm that throws from a ¾ slot. Throws across the diamond were clocked up to 70 MPH. Crisp defensive movements and soft hands on the forehand and backhand. The defensive tools are there for Rodrigues to stick up the middle long-term. Overall, a high follow of the 2022 class, profiling as someone with an advanced hit tool and defensive aptitude.
