Eastern Kentucky commit. 6-foot-1, 208-pound left-handed pitcher sat 86-87 from a low 3/4 arm slot with some leg wrap to his delivery. Fastball and changeup at 76-77 were relatively flat while curevball at 68-69 showed sweeping 2/7 break.

6/25/19

A highly projectable athletic frame at 6-foot-0 tall, 185 pounds. Pitching- The LHP displayed a repeatable delivery and a projectable live arm . Throws from a mid arm slot. Natural whip. Takes his time to gather himself and works downhill with low effort. Lived at the shins with a plus FB peaking at 89 MPH. FB ranged from 84-87 MPH. Shows a plus CB at 67-69 MPH and feel for a CH with late fade down in the zone at 77-79 MPH. The 2021 graduate is a must follow.

2.20.19

A lean athletic  6-foot-0, 185 pounds frame. Ran a 7.67 60 yard dash. Offensively-stands in the box in a tall stance. Effortless actions at the plate. Short path to the ball. Displayed gap to gap hard contact during the hitting portion. Balanced throughout the swing. A lot more in the tank with the bat. Top exit velocity was 75 MPH. As an INF, fields the baseball slightly upright. Smooth footwork around the bag. Low arm action on throws across the diamond. Pitching-the left handed pitcher has major upside on the mound. Displays a free easy arm action. Effortless delivery, smooth hand separation from a balanced backside. Throws from a mid arm slot. FB topped at 83 MPH has a natural sink. CB has a tight spin and late break in the zone. A plus put pitch for the 2021 grad. The range on the CB was 62-64 MPH. Feel for a CH at 73-77 MPH. The 2021 graduate is a must follow going forward.

Last Chance Preview – Downstate (October 28, 2018)

Athletic, projectable frame with lean build at 6-foot, 185-pounds. Offensively – Narrow stance with tall, upright posture. Feet begin square to the pitcher. Short leg lift to load weight onto backside. Stays tall at landing with front side closed. Smooth, low effort swing. Hands stay tight to body. Noticeable quickness in wrists. High, one-handed finish with lift after contact. Projects to add more power with additional strength. Defensively – Balanced defensive actions with deliberate tempo. Maintains balance and body control while moving around the bag at 1b. Stays in lower half and allows ball to travel to him. Flashed control of a soft glove hand. Short arm action with low slot. Pitching – Smooth, mechanically sound delivery. Showed the ability to consistently repeat throwing actions. Balanced leg lift before initiating forward stride. Stays tall on backside while pushing down the slope. Lands in line with target. Long lower half creates leverage and tough downward angle on offerings. Clean, fluid arm action with significant projection and release point. Stays behind the ball and gets extension out over front leg after release. Quality 3-pitch mix presently with the potential for an above average breaking ball.
