The 6-foot-2, 195-pound Garner shares the left side with Waters for Franklin, usually at the hot corner.  With Waters banged up, Garner handled the SS duties and did an admirably job.  Solid frame with proportional strength, smooth hands and good arm with carry on throws.  Offensively, puts together quality at bats with gap to gap power.  Worked two walks, stole two bases, and barreled a ball to CF while coming around to score once on Opening Day vs Summit.  Due to frame and solid offense, Projects to move to 3B at next level, but above average defender at SS if needed.

6-foot-2, 180 pounds that is very athletic and projectable. Patient at the plate. Whippy swing with strong wrists. Hands get extended and has present power for position. Steady rhythm with uphill stroke. Very good hands in the infield. Played multiple positions over the weekend and looked comfortable on the left-side of the infield. Smooth hands and strong carry on throws. Solid player to watch.

His metrics have also went up as we she he has shaved his 60 time down to 7.07 increased INF velo and exit velo to 83 and 89 respectively. Offensively, shows good presence in the box. Setup is relaxed with slightly open stance and a low handset. Gathers his weight with a leg lift and then shows an elite positive move to the ball as his hands work away from his center of mass. Very high effort swing causing inconsistencies in his bp round. When he squared the ball up he was able to show off exit velo of 89. Has a strong tendency to spin off the ball with shoulders, leading to a loss of power and contact. Defensively, showed good hands with a consistent 4-step pattern across the diamond. Shows good arm strength and carry. Player to follow.

6-2, 175-pound corner infielder has begun growing into his frame, as he improved every metric from last summer, including an 87 mile per hour exit velocity.  Tall, athletic frame w/ well-proportioned lean strength, has just scratched the surface of his frame potential, super projectable.  Offensively, hits w/ a slightly open, upright stance w/ short hand rhythm into a bit of a hanging leg kick and proper load.  Learning to repeat the same swing every time, control his body.  Hands occasionally lag behind, lower half gets too far out in front.  When on time and in sync, shows ability to deliver hard contact to all fields.  Ball jumps off his barrel, presenting a very intriguing offensive option as the frame continues to develop.  Projectable pull power.  Defensively, shows soft hands w/ ability to play through the baseball and projectable carry to target arm strength.
