(2024, Clarksville) The uncommitted senior was sharp in his start Saturday where he routinely attacked the zone and just really controlled the game from the onstart. Henderson was a recent standout at Prep Baseball Tennessee Preseason All-State where he sat 86-88 mph with spin ranging in the 2400-2500’s. He has impressed in multiple outings thus far and was no different against Mt. Juliet where he went a complete game shutout surrendering only 3 hits to go with 7 strikeouts. One thing that really separates Henderson is his ability to throw strikes and command the zone, something that is often lost in today's game. He started hitters off 20 out of 25 batters with first pitch strikes. He would go on to throw a total of 79 pitches with 60 strikes. A college is going to be really lucky to ink his signature as he has gone under the radar thus far, but will be a late steal. He would be a guy you can throw up against anyone and know that your team is going to have a chance to win as he is coming off a 2023 All-State First Team nomination.

Positional Profile: RHP/1B
Body: 6-1, 185-pounds. Proportional build with developed lower half and shoulders, continues to develop athletically.
Arm Action: RH
FB: T88, 86-88 mph. Spins the fastball very well which gives it nice boar through the zone. Lives in the zone with the quality FB. T2444, 2340 average rpm.
CB: 71-73 mph. Above average offering with a very good spin rate at 2800 rpms with 12 and 14 inches of vertical and horizontal break respectively. T2808, 2758 average rpm.
SL: 75-76 mph. Spun very well with hard horizontal movement with a different shape than the breaking ball. T2663, 2628 average rpm.
CH: 80-80 mph. Will work off of other pitches very well. With a large amount of killed spin off of the fastball has a good amount of HB. T1562, 1501 average rpm.

Body: 6-1, 185-pounds. Medium build that has plenty of room to add to frame. Present strength in lower half with developed shoulders.
Delivery: Smooth delivery with a good tempo. Loads his hips well and shows good body control as he delivers the pitch
Arm Action: RH. Throws from a 3/4 arm slot. Smooth action that the ball jumps out of. Longer arm action
FB: T83, 80-83 mph. Commanded the FB really well. Moving it around the zone will be a strength of his he should do often. Will set up his offspeed pitches well T2395, 2174 average rpm.
CB: 68-71 mph. Spins the ball well. Has advanced feel for the pitch locating it in the zone often. Will keep batters off balance T2575, 2446 average rpm.
SL: 67-71 mph. SL has good shape and sharp break but needs to be in the zone more. Could be a out pitch if he can be more consistent with it. T2425, 2290 average rpm.
CH: 74-75 mph. CH has good arm side run. Hard to keep it in the zone. With better feel this pitch could keep LHH off his FB T1560, 1462 average rpm.

Delivery: Stock delivery w/ good tempo. High leg lift into tall n fall lower half. On line and square toe landing before spinning off to 1B side.
Arm Action: RH. Soft stab out the glove, working up to low 3/4 slot.
FB: T83, 81-82 mph. Running FB w/ good action and around the zone. Located down. T2135, 2033 average rpm.
CB: 68-69 mph. 11/5 action w/ good shape and fair bite. T2410, 2324 average rpm.
SL: 70-73 mph. Similar to CB, touch more firm. Slurvy break. T2348, 2282 average rpm.
CH: 76-77 mph. Developing pitch w/ fair arm side action. T1609, 1448 average rpm.

Hits: RHH. Tall, narrow stance w/ small, coil leg kick and bat tip load. Generates average bat speed w/ slightly uphill path into high one handed finish. Good extension and strength through contact. Flashes of raw power.
Power: 91 max exit velocity, averaged 84.6 MPH. 299' max distance.
Arm: RH. INF-72 mph.Short arm action w/ some stiffness.
Defense: Wide base w/ stagnant footwork. Reliable hands and solid transfers.
Run: 7.48 runner in the 60.

Delivery: Repeatable, stays closed and works down the mound.
Arm Action: RH. Mid 3/4 arm action.

SL: 68-70 mph. Tight spinner, late break, frisbee-like. T2482, 2418 average rpm.
