1/15/18 - 60 Time: 7.44, Pop Time: 2.16-2.19, Position Velocity:  C-71, Exit Velocity: 86
6-foot-0, 180-pound, RHH showed improved metrics in every phase of testing.  Medium, athletic frame w/ present strength, some physical projection remaining.  Prototypical catcher build.  Offensively, hits from a slightly open, slightly crouched stance w/ hands back ear hand location.  Some bat waggle/hand rhythm.  Shift of weight, thigh high leg kick and proper load.  Shows extension w/ feel for backspin and pull power.  Lot of movement in swing, but keeps still head.  Defensively, shows good target to his pitchers w/ low target.  Tracks breaking balls well w/ quiet glove.  Soft hands w/ feel for sticking strikes.  Feel for boxing baseballs.  As a thrower, shows solid release w/ arm strength w/ carry to target.  Improvement will come when the first step is not towards his left, but towards the 2nd base bag, will improve pop time and allow arm to work better.  An unsigned senior worth seeing this spring if looking for a catcher to finalize a class.
9/24/17 - Home-1st: 4.75, Pop Time: 2.25-2.31, Position Velocity:  70, Exit Velocity: 85
6-foot-0, 180-pound, RHH w/ physical body and some bat to ball ability.  Good sized kid, medium, athletic frame w/ present strength in the lower half.  Offensively, hits from an open, straight up stance / back shoulder hand location.  Leg kick (occasional stride) w/ proper load.  Gets a short hitch w/ his hands at times.  Bat stays in zone for long time, shows potential for future power.  Up the middle approach w/ some loft in swing.  Defensively, presents good target to pitchers w/ soft hands and feel for framing.  Shows ability to stick the baseball.  Moves well w/ ability to box balls.  Good looking catching prospect w/ some bat upside.

7/27/16 - Home-1st: 4.74, Pop Time: 2.22-2.37, Position Velocity:  66, Exit Velocity: 79
5-foot-11, 170-pound, RHH hits from a tall and slightly open stance with some very high initial hand positioning, uses a very abbreviated leg lift and stride along with a lowering and push back of the hands with some barrel tilt to get loaded, lower half struggled to get through which causes him to hit everything the other way, did hit some solid line drives toward RCF.  Defensively, showed average hands and footwork behind the plate, did have a short exchange and arm action to get rid of the ball toward second base, over-the-top arm slot produced some accuracy in his throws, quickness and arm strength can be improved.
