5/31/19

5-foot-10, 170 pounds. Athletic build. Impressed both at the plate and in the infield. Athletic set up, possesses good bat speed with hands staying inside ball well. Plus pitch recognition; continually left breakings balls in dirt, seeing early out of hand. At shortstop, used quick, small steps on approach to ball. Fields out front, plays through ball well. Good actions.

6/12/18 - Max FB: 82, FB: 79-81, Avg FB: 79.42, CB: 75, CH: 73-75
5-foot-9, 155-pound, RHP showed ability to consistently fill the strike zone w/ his 3-pitch mix.  Short, athletic, well-proportioned frame w/ some present strength, some physical projection.  Pitches from a full wind-up into the first base side of the rubber into ¾ release.  Quiet, repeatable delivery w/ occasional angle.  FB shows occasional short arm side run, occasional straight.  Mixed in one CB, which was a medium downer w/ proper shape and rotation.  CH w/ arm-speed, short fade and occasional short sink.  Around the zone, shows ability to pitch to both sides of the plate while staying out of the middle.  Projects to command his 3-pitch mix.  Generated 2 swing and misses on 11 swings.

6/12/18 - Home-1st: 4.53, Position Velocity:  IF-77, Exit Velocity: 72
5-foot-9, 155-pound, RHH showed intriguing all-around skill-set as frame develops.  Short, athletic, well-proportioned frame w/ some present strength, some physical projection.  Offensively, hits from a slightly open, slightly crouched stance w/ short hand rhythm into shift of weight, stride and no load.  Some length through the zone w/ some bat speed.  Gap to gap approach w/ lot of line drives when right.  Projectable average runner.  Defensively at third base, shows solid hands, arm strength w/ carry to target.  Some stiffness in the hips, some heavy-footed movements, but should grow out of both of those as he ages.
