6-foot-1, 195-pound, LHP threw 15 of 18 FB’s for strikes, has a chance to be a legitimate 2-way prospect.  Medium, athletic frame w/ well-proportioned lean strength throughout, projectable.  Pitches from a full wind-up into a H ¾ release from the first base side of the rubber. Quiet, repeatable delivery w/ quick arm.  Can work on keeping a stronger front side, as it has a tendency to pull him down and get him out of control at times.   Some head violence.  FB shows short arm-side run.  CB is a tight, medium downer w/ late bite.  Struggled to get out in front of the pitch on this day, was leaving it up consistently.  Flashes above average when located down in the zone and keeps his fingers on top.  CH w/ arm-speed, fade and sink.  Flashes late fade.  Both off-speed pitches flash above average.  Pounded the zone w/ the FB, struggled to command off-speed, which is uncharacteristic for him.  Projects to control his 3-pitch mix.  Generated 3 swing and misses on 15 swings.

6-foot-1, 195-pound, LHH had a big day, collecting 3 hits in game.  Medium, athletic frame w/ well-proportioned lean strength throughout, projectable.  Has just scratched the surface of his frame potential.  Offensively, hits w/ an open, crouched stance w/ short hand rhythm into leg kick to very slightly open and proper hand load.  Generates above average bat speed through the zone.  Barrel stays in zone for long time w/ still head, repeatable swing.  Ball makes a different sound off his barrel.  All fields approach w/ lot of line drives.  Projects to really hit, be a tough out.  Projectable pull power but is content to hit gaps and leg out extra bases w/ projectable above average run speed.  Defensively, moves well in the OF, projects to play CF, w/ projectable above average arm strength.  Intriguing 2-way prospect has a chance to do both at the next level.
