Body: 6-1, 220-pounds. Thick, muscular build w/ strength in quads & blocky shoulers.
Hits: RHH. Slightly open stance w/ relaxed hands. Big coil leg kick w/ compact load. Generates above average bat speed, muscling the ball to pull side. Body creates the pop while guiding the hands to the ball. Level path through the zone into one hand finish.
Power: 95 max exit velocity, averaged 78.7 MPH. 353' max distance. Strong through the zone w/ gap power but limited future projection.
Arm: RH. C-71 mph. Tight, compact arm action w/ ok arm strength but quickness and accuracy allows it to play up.
Defense: 2.07-2.15 pop times. Staggered setup, speedy transfers and gets the ball quickly. Well rounded defender w/ sound blocking.
Run: 7.45 runner in the 60.
Uncommitted, 6-0, 200-lb developed frame w/ present strength throughout. Open crouched stance w/ big leg kick and quiet hand load. Heavy dose of hard contact w/ pull side approach and power (T 94.8 exit; T 366 ft). Looks to get the head out and drive the ball with authority. Defensively, varied stances from traditional to one knee setup. Soft hands, working up thru the ball and showed strike stealing ability as a receiver. Solid arm strength, but quick clean transfers getting the ball out and on target consistently (T 2.03 pop). Well rounded uncommitted senior, who is a reliable defender and shows power upside.
6’1, 205-pound catcher features advanced physicality for a ’23 w/ present strength throughout. Physical lower half w/ upper body strength. Offensively, hits w/ an open, crouched stance w/ short hand rhythm into toe tap to open and short hand load. Pull oriented approach. Learning to stay through the ball with his lower half. Flashes bat speed w/ occasional loft. Projectable pull power type. As a catcher, shows solid footwork w/ quick release and developing arm strength.
