8/19/18 - Max FB: 85, FB: 82-85, Avg FB: 83.35, CB: 65-69, CH: 75-76
6-foot-4, 190-pound, RHP continues to show similarly every time we have seen him, showed an improved CH on this day.  XL tall, athletic frame w/ some present lower half strength.  Super projectable, has just scratched the surface of his frame potential.  Pitches from a full wind-up into H ¾ to OTT release from the first base side of the rubber.  Quick arm.  Simple, repeatable mechanics.  Learning to get lower half consistently involved and utilize it to get the arm on time.  Downhill plane.  Straight FB shows occasional short cut.  Medium downer CB w/ proper shape.  Arm lagged behind on the CB, made it difficult to stay on top and pull it down to create the shape we have seen in the past.  CH w/ arm-speed, short fade, occasional sink.  Around the zone w/ the FB, developing feel for the secondary.  Tools to command as learns to repeat delivery.  Generated 4 swing and misses on 11 swings (36 %).
8/11/18 - Max FB: 83, FB: 81-83, CB: 64-68, CH: 73-75, SL: 72
6-foot-3, 190-pound, RHP continued to show off his projectable frame and arm speed.  Tall, athletic frame w/ high-waist, well-proportioned present strength.  Projectable, has just scratched the surface of his frame potential.  Pitches from a full wind-up into H ¾ release from the first base side of the rubber.  Quiet, repeatable delivery w/ easy arm action.  Quick arm.  Learning to get lower half consistently involved.  Downhill plane.  Straight FB shows occasional short arm-side run.  Medium downer CB w/ proper shape and rotation, best used as a pitch to steal strikes.  Short ¾ tilt SL w/ occasional depth.  CH w/ arm-speed, short fade and sink.  Around the zone.
6/12/18 - Max FB: 85, FB: 82-85, Avg FB: 83.30, CB: 65-67, CH: 75-76, SL: 70-73
6-foot-3, 190-pound, RHP w/ prototypical size and projectable arm speed.  Prototypical pitcher frame, tall, long w/ high-waist, some present lower half strength, super projectable.  Pitches from a full wind-up into over the top release from the first base side of the rubber.  Super quick arm w/ some effort in the throw.  Learning how to use his lower half to consistently keep his arm on time.  Short head violence.  Straight FB shows occasional ride through the zone, occasional cut.  Big downer CB flashes proper shape and rotation.  Backs up on occasion.  Early breaking ¾ tilt SL flashes depth.  Straight CH w/ arm-speed.  Around the zone, has a few too many noncompetitive pitches at this stage.  Projects to repeat his delivery w/ reps, projects to control.  Generated 6 swing and misses on 15 swings, including 5 of 13 on his FB.
11/18/17 - Max FB: 82, FB: 80-82, CB: 62-63, CH: 72-73, CT: 70-71
6-foot-3, 190-pound, RHP gets downhill w/ projectable frame, present velocity.  Tall, athletic frame w/ projection, some present strength.  Pitches from the stretch only, working from the first base side of the rubber.  Belt high leg kick into hip drive and H ¾ release.  Can generate some hand rhythm, hands get pushed up by leg kick.  Throws slightly across body.  Can keep glove side stronger, get more back leg drive.  FB w/ occasional arm side run.  Loopy 12-6 CB can be seen early out of hand.  CT is more of a SL, featuring short ¾ tilt w/ 2 plane break.  Straight CH.  Strike-thrower projects to command.
12/10/16 - 60 Time: 7.57, Position Velocity:  IF-73, Exit Velocity: 84
6-foot-1, 175-pound, RHH hits from a wider and even stance with a minor bat waggle just behind his head before the pitch, no stride approach and nothing more than a pause in hand movement are used to get loaded, lack of rhythm makes it hard for his lower half to really get going, bat path is steep into the zone but flattens out through contact, at his best when he stays middle.  Defensively, showed average hands and footwork at the corner, could’ve played through the ball more, arm action was longer through a near over-the-top slot.

12/10/16 - Max FB: 76, FB: 74-76, CB: 59-64, CH: 68-71,
6-foot-1, 175-pound, RHP uses a more mechanical and processed delivery, movements all seem calculated and don’t free him up to use his athleticism, maintains strict posture throughout delivery and doesn’t get much activation of the rest of his body during the leg lift, tall and fall type of pitcher strides in line with his target and finishes over his front leg, arm action is long but stops at a point and forces him to be a little stiffer than he otherwise would be.  Fastball was straight and left up in the zone a little bit, breaking ball had 12/6 shape with very gradual movement, changeup was pulled a lot but showed signs of potential.
