9/18/19

5-foot-10, 175-pounds, right-handed hitting middle infielder, strong athlete. Stood out offensively, balanced setup with an athletic bend in his knees. Consistently made hard contact with a simple line drive approach, level through the zone with good barrel control, uses the entire field. Does not try to do too much at the plate, high IQ player knows what needs to get done and executes. Led the game off versus 5 Star with a triple over the center fielders head. Came up clutch in the bottom of the seventh with a game-tying opposite field RBI.

6/12/19

60: 7.15 INF Velo: 86 Exit Velo: 88

5-foot-10, 175-pound frame well proportioned athletic frame. Offensively, shows good presence in the box. Setup is athletic and very balanced. Showed a knack for finding the barrel with a well balanced line drive approach. Showed ability to stay through baseball with good direction. Tends to swing around shoulders and spin at the plate causing him to lose bat speed and whip through the zone. Defensively, showed a very strong arm across the diamond with impressive carry. Moves very well laterally and has a reliable glove. Player to keep an eye on in 2020.

10/14/18 - Home-1st: 4.69, Position Velocity:  IF-80, Exit Velocity: 82
5-foot-10, 165-pound, RHH picked up a hit and two walks in game while showing zero swing and miss on 3 swings.  Medium, athletic frame w/ well-proportioned lean strength, projectable.  Has just scratched the surface of his frame potential.  Offensively, hits w/ a slightly open, very slightly crouched stance w/ short hand rhythm into picking up the foot and putting it back down.  Simple, repeatable swing.  Learning to get lower half consistently involved, swings w/ mostly arms.  Knack for contact, some barrel feel.  Projectable gap power type.  Defensively, shows soft hands w/ solid footwork, carry to target arm strength.  Tools to make all the plays required of a SS as frame matures.
