6’3, 165-pound RHP has made a jump since we saw him last October, going from 77-80 to consistent 82-84, hinting at futher velocity upside.  Tall, athletic frame, prototypical pitcher size w/ some present lower half strength, super projectable.  Chance to be physical.  Pitches from a full wind-up into ¾ to H ¾ release w/ quick arm.  Ball jumps out of his hand.  Finishes upright, short strider.  FB shows short arm-side run.  SL is a slurve at times, power CB at other times.  More of a power 12-6 downer on this day, flashed late bite.  Strike thrower with the FB (8 of 10 for strikes), showing an ability to stay out of the middle of the plate, around the zone w/ secondary stuff.  Projects to command.

6-foot, 155-pound right-handed pitcher, athletic build, smooth actions. On the mound, arm works quick and loose to a ¾ slot, consistently gets out front out-time. Drop and drive delivery, strides towards third base side of the mound creating some deception, coupled with a high front side and quick arm speed, ball shows up out of nowhere at release point, lands closed and finishes with a slight recoil in his arm. Fastball 77-80 with run (2000rpm). Good feel for curveball at 69, threw at any time in any count, late break (2200-2300rom). With continued physical development and present arm speed, expect a velo jump in the near future.
