6/15/15 - Strider was names District 4-AA Pitcher of the Year during his sophomore campaign. The 6-foot-180-pound right-hander features a fastball that tops out in the high-80's and struck out 86 batters in 46.2 innings of work. Strider compiles a 9-0 record with a 0.75 ERA and will pitch for Team TN at the PBR Future Games.
8-15-2018: Strong bodied, six-foot, 205 pound righty with an easy, starter type delivery and arm action. Low effort, lands soft and on-line with a still head. Fair deception, hitters get a good look. Fastball sat 89-90 mph, touching 92 with some tail. Played light. Secondary pitches included a fringe average slurve at 76-77 mph and a useable 80-81 mph changeup thrown with fair arm speed. Left up in the zone often. Overall, showed more control than command. Location was loose in the zone, catching too much of the plate at times. (Seifert)
