11/5/17 - Max FB: 85, FB: 81-82, CB: 68-69, CH: 68-70
6-foot-0, 145-pound, RHP w/ projectable frame, present velocity, feel for 3 pitches.  Medium, long and lanky, athletic frame w/ little present strength, lot of projection.  Pitches from full wind-up w/ short rocker step into first base side of the rubber.  Leg kick w/ hand rhythm into drop and drive delivery and over the top release.  Glove finishes in correct spot, but relies on hitting it off of his front knee to get it there.  Throws slightly across body w/ quick arm and some head violence.  High effort throw.  Straight FB w/ occasional downhill plane.  CB is medium downer w/ proper shape/rotation.  CH w/ arm-speed, fade and sink.  Around the zone, projects to control the baseball.
6/14/17 - Home-1st: 4.48, Position Velocity:  IF-79, Exit Velocity: 81
5-foot-11, 145-pound, RHH hits from a wider and balanced stance, uses an abbreviated leg kick to load, lower half is very active and drives through to create separation, swing plane is flat on balls up but can be steep down in the zone, line drive and singles approach.  Defensively, shows athleticism with good hands and footwork, could play through it more aggressively, makes the play and delivers firm and accurate throws across the infield.

6/14/17 - Max FB: 82, FB: 79-82, CB: 65-66, CH: 68-69,
5-foot-11, 145-pound, RHP continued to impress on the mound with a long and loose arm action that comes through his release very quickly and with intent.  Sills is very athletic and is still waiting to fill out his wiry frame.  His mechanics and frame suggest a lot of upside that could show a sharp jump in velo.  Fastball shows some run and can bear down on righties, while his curveball shows 12/6 shape with some real sharpness at the end.  Pounded the zone and flashed a changeup with a little fade.

1/16/17 - Max FB: 81, FB: 79-81, CB: 67-69, CH: 70-71,
5-foot-10, 140-pound, RHP stood out on the mound with some good actions and athleticism, very good rhythm through an up-tempo delivery, a lot of movement but utilizes his entire body through release, higher leg lift gets his front side loaded and creates some shoulder tilt just before heading home, strides and lands slightly closed but has no trouble getting out over his front side with a loose and quick arm action through a high ¾ slot.  Fastball was often straight but seemed heavy through the zone, curveball was sharp with late 11/5 action, changeup dies at the plate, throws 3 pitches for strikes.

1/16/17 - 60 Time: 7.96, Position Velocity:  IF-73, Exit Velocity: 78
5-foot-10, 140-pound, RHH hits from a wider and even stance with his long and lanky frame, uses a short and rhythmic stride with a smooth movement back of his hands to get loaded, lower half fires well and creates some good separation while keeping him well-balanced at the same time, swing plane is flat through contact and can provide a little lift at the end, whippy swing creates good extension as well.  Defensively, showed soft hands and above-average footwork in the infield, could have played through balls directly at him, exchange uses a glove pat and leads to a long and loose arm action through a high ¾ slot. Interesting prospect on the mound, as well.

6/14/16 - 60 Time: 8.06, Position Velocity:  IF-77, Exit Velocity: 75
5'11, 150-pound, RHH hits from a balance and very athletic stance with high hands and an even set up, uses a short stride and some subtle hand movement to initiate his load.  Okay lower half helps get his barrel in the zone and through the ball, hit some low line drives and hard ground balls and had 3 singles in game play.  Defensively, showed average but sure hands with some quick footwork and an over-the-top delivery with very good accuracy and carry, played through the ball well.

6/14/16 - Max FB: 77, FB: 74-77, CB: 57-58,
5'11, 150-pound, RHP does a great job of using his entire body to get everything he can out of his currently smaller frame, pitches with good tempo and uses an over-the-top arm angle to get some break on his 12/6 curveball, fastball stayed pretty straight but has the potential to get a lot better, showed signs of bearing in on a RHH.  Sills is an interesting prospect, as he seems to be one growth spurt away from a huge jump.
