Axel Chasak, Plano West (TX), 2025 Positional Profile: OF/2B Athletic player with room to add strength. Solid bat/power combo in future. Steady defender. Body: 5-11, 165-pounds. Good build/frame with room to strength and weight. Hit: RHH. Lands in decent position to hit after stride. Can improve lower 1/2 use. Back foot shows some linear movement with drift away from plate killing lower 1/2. Must improve driving back foot forward with linear movement, back foot can slide away on pitches away to help maintain balance. Inconsistent hitting into firm front side and maintaining posture, can be firmed. Barrel/hands launch from solid position, can improve with barrel control, dumps at times. Will occasionally cut off swing, work staying on zone as long as possible and on plane. 72.8 mph bat speed with 22 G's of rotational acceleration. Power: 99 max exit velocity, averaged 85.4 mph. 375' max distance. Like the upside to bat/power with adjustment opportunities. Contact consistency will improve along with line drive contact with changes. Arm: RH. OF-79 mph. Arm works well with accurate throws. Fair arm speed presently, can improve extension to release. Would benefit from long toss program. Defense: Solid footwork, moves well to baseball. Hands work well fielding baseball. ATH: 6.78 runner in the 60. 1.70 and 3.81 in the 10 and 30 yard splits. Plus runner with solid quickness to start, could improve with added strength. 31.20 max vertical.

Axel Chasak, PLANO WEST SENIOR H S (TX), 2025 Positional Profile: OF/2B Athletic, plus runner. Solid bat/power combo. Like the upside. Body: 5-10, 161-pounds. Good build frame to add strength. Will have solid build in future. Hit: RHH. Upright straight away stance. Minimal weight shift back prior to toe tap stride, basically dead stop hitter. Linear movement to backside, does a nice job of getting lower 1/2 into swing. Can develop improved load to backside getting ready to hit. Dead stop hands/barrel that start in good position to launch. Long swing with pull approach. Would like to see him develop some sort of hand trigger to start, shorten swing, use all fields. Nice opportunities to improve, lot to like in future. 71.2 mph bat speed with 20 G's of rotational acceleration. Power: 97 max exit velocity, averaged 85.6 mph. 365' max distance. Like the bat/power combo in future with adjustments and future strength. Arm: RH. OF-80 mph. Arm works fine, lower 1/2 movement setting to throw can improve, also would be helped by long toss program. Defense: Moves fine to baseball, can play thru ball with more momentum, field ball more out front. ATH: 6.63 runner in the 60. Runs well with quickness present. Good mover. Vizual Edge: 47.19 Edge Score
