09.15.17 San Jacinto JC commit. 6-foot-1, 160-pound, lean, wiry, long-limbed frame. Deskins has a long, loose arm swing, working from a ¾ slot with a smooth, cross-fire delivery as he coils at leg lift. Quick arm from back to front with a repeatable release point. His fastball started out 88-89 mph with some arm side run, dipping down to 85-86 mph from the stretch. His curveball has good depth at 71-72 mph with 1/7 shape.

6-foot, 150-pound, wiry frame, long arms and legs. The young-looking junior works from a ¾ slot with long, slinger-type arm action. From the windup his fastball ranged from 85-87 mph. His slider has slurvey 2-8 action ranging from 70-72. When he stays on top of the slurve it is a solid pitch with downward action.
